MAKE AN ENQUIRYAn Egyptian Christian (Coptic) yellow wool jacket, largely complete. Finely woven, including inserts of designs of birds on water. These finely woven bands and mons, were often removed when the garment wore out. The yellow identified the wearer as Christian. The purple woven inserts dyed with murex shells.
