It seems almost impossible to reconcile that elsewhere Victorian England was consumed with swirls, curls & cabriole legs – all the fuss that William Morris was to rail against. The form essentially copied by French modernist architect LeCorbusier in 1928 as his LC4lounge, demonstrating the advanced design of the original.
