A superb quality Scottish Regency period mahogany chiffoniere, inlaid & mounted with brass, with fitted secretaire and rare concave front.
The brass grilles original, and the carving of fine quality. The scrolled buttresses supports terminating in lion paw feet, fine fluting to the scroll ends and form suggest an attribution to the leading Edinburgh cabinet maker, William Trotter ( 1772-1833).
