A magnificent pair of English George IV period vase or fishbowl stands. With original bronzed & gilt to the acanthus leaf scrolled legs. Taken from a design for a Roman stand in CH Tatham’s Etchings Representing the Best Examples of Ancuent Architecture drawn in Rome & Greece.Pub 1799.

In A1 mint condition, of the most righly figured butt cedar to the drawer fronts & edge bandings, ribbon cedar to the top. A rare (and exciting!) English Regency period convex mirror, mounted with a dragon to the crest supported by a pair of recumbant lions. Acanthus leaf carved scrolls to the sides & base, centred by a sunflower. Original gilding, ebonized reeded slip & mercury silvered mirror. In nice old aged state.  Regency circular convex mirrors were one of the idiosyncratic items of that age. Examples mounted with a dragon & lions, in original condition are very rare, adding to the exotic taste & mystical quality of the mirror.

A now very rare Scottish Regency triple pedestal dining table, in original condition, with a terrific patina. Rare with original top, never reduced, edge, bases, mechanisms, bolts, clips, leaves (unfaded) and casters. The top of fine fustic mahogany. The centre able to be used as a square breakfast table, and a pair of serving tables, or joined together, with or without leaves to comfortably seat 14, 16 with two at the ends, or a 4 seater breakfast table. c 1810
