A very fine quality bronze and gilt bronze mantel clock. The movement of eight day duration, 1/2 hour striking on a bell, with silk suspension and regulation to dial. The case emblematic of the Homeric legend of Penelope, wife of Odysseus, hero of the Trojan wars & the Odyssey. The maker, Masson a Paris is one of 12 clockmakers recorded, active c. 1808- 29. Dated 1827.

A good quality Old Sheffield plate wine cooler, rare to retain the original detachable liner and rim. With cast silver mounts and borders. Seam marks to body and only faint bleeding through on a few edges
A good quality Anglo Indian teak campaign or military chest. Of rectangular form, separating in two sections, the feet with timber threads to remove. The semi-circular handles are an unusual and attractive feature of this chest of drawers, as is the colour.
