A South German marquetry cabinet c 1740. In finely figured walnut, onto oak & poplar with a good old patina. The doors with contrasting panels and quadrants of dark walnut, the top with geometric marquetry. Mounted with blued steel carrying handles, and fine original lock, hinges & key. The brass escutcheons with engraved faces & remains of gilding. The interior with original decoration painted in cobalt of clouds.

George III period Oval Wine Cooler c1800
A very elegant & virtually untouched George III period wine cooler, for storing cool whites on ice, with a bung hole to the base. Of tight oval form, the flat top with a good patina, handy as a wine table in itself. In wonderful heavy Cuban mahogany, with brass brass bindings & original ogee lug handles to the ends, on original tapering leg stand & trail casters.

A fine quality London made George III period sterling silver caster for pepper. With finely raised domed foot & baluster shaped body, with reeded bands. The tight fitting lid of bell shape, finely pierced, in engraved diagonal panels. Mint condition & good patina & marks.
