A rare English George III period chest of drawers, veneered with West Indian satinwood, banded in rosewood, with oval rosewood inlay to the top. The handles Bilston enamel. Oak lined & of the highest quality. The use of dark oval inlays onto a satinwood field similar to the work of George Simson, cabinet maker of London and John Cobb, cabinet maker of St Martin’s Lane, London.
