A rare English Regency period four bottle decanter set, of excellent quality,  with original acanthus leaf mounted Sheffield plate frame, in original condition. The decanters hob nail cut,  hand ground &  polished, star cut bases, with original stoppers & star cut bases. 260mmH x 200mm x 200mm. UK c 1820.

A fine & elegant pair of English Regency period mahogany carver chairs, with gilded brass inlay to the backs & midrails. The backs with finely figured inlaid panels of flame mahogany, with reeded arms supported by turned vases & ring turned legs to the front. In excellent original condition, with a wonderful patina. A fine quality French Charles X period  mantel clock, the  Brazilian rosewood case with satinwood marquetry, with original  turned rosewood boxwood inlaid  vase to the top. The dial with the original convex glass, silvered & engine turned with fine ‘Breguet’ type blued steel hands, regulation & 8 day 1/2 hour bell striking with silk suspension. Apparently unsigned. The whole with an excellent original  patina. Newly cleaned  & warranted for 2 years. 43cm H x 21cm W x 14cmD. Ensuite with the original vases.

8 day, 1 /2 hour bell striking, silk suspension movement with outside count wheel, signed to the enamel dial, Thomas Scettot of Paris, [active c1812-1815].
The case by Antoine Ravrio of Paris, the foremost bronze case maker of the day.

A handsome quality English walnut stool, with quarter  crossbanded & face veneered skirt, onto a well patinated oak carcass. Supported on four beautifully carved legs, with carved harebells & clam shell to the knees, supported on  claw & ball feet – the pearl in the eagle’s claw.  Excellent original colour, marks, rough carved blocking to the frame & rich red brown old patina. An elegant & finely made Anglo Indian Regency period two part campaign chest, for a military officer on the move, or exotic travel. Of rectangular form, the two parts resting on lugs, with inset flush brass carrying handles, inlaid rosewood escutcheons, the drawers with dust liners between & fine dovetail joining. Supported on 19th century teak bracket feet, the semi – circular fretted brass ‘moustache’ type handles the rarest & most expensive form. Good colour & original finish.
